New Flat Roof Info Please

I want to have a garage built on the side of my house. Running down the side of the house where the garage will go is a bathroom soil pipe and a drain pipe.

Can a soil and drain pipe pass through a flat roof, ie. will it be possible to get a good long lasting seal?

use one of these

if bedded correctly to the felt layer and sealed correctly where the pipe passes through the lead slate, then no problem.
