I have been asked to replace a Back boiler and fire with a combi boiler and an inset fire. I was ACS qualified down at the Zurich centre in Erith only last year. The boiler change is quite straightfoward but I am unsure of how to proceed with the fire. I presume I will have to remove the flue liner or does anyone know of a fire which connects up to the flue liner. Or could I use a fire box ? Any idea's gratefully received. Many Thanks

What size is the flue liner, what size is the opening, You could maybe use a fluebox connected to liner. or a hotbox into opening and get a gather made for bottom of liner. Check liner out though, find out trhe age of it.
