We have to block in 2 areas at the back of our house. We had started with normal red bricks but as were rendering the outside we was told the bigger blocks would be better.

Well... i bought some of the lighter grew, really heavey blocks at BnQ, we put them on but needed more so went to Wickes to see if they did them (was nearer than bnq) They had Aerated Blocks so bought them ... now i thought about whether they would be suitable.

We have 3 of these blocks already in place, do we need to take them back out (that part is finished) or are they ok?

Ive read they like to absorb water so thinking they are no good for an outside wall?? does it make any difference that we are rendering over it?

Anybody help us? Many Thanks in advance
Suz
