New porch.

150mm crushed compacted hardcore,25mm blinding,D.P.M,100mm concrete,100mm insulation then 75mm screed. As for under front door cill you could hack off existing plinth and paint brickwork with a few coats of synthaprufe lac, its more expensive than the standard gear but well worth the money.

synthaprufe lac, had look and would seem suitable for the junction of the membrane and wall below door would love to pull it off but its part of the upvc existing door all one part.

Hopefully this weekend will be creating/getting half way through the floor slab, here it goes.

150mm ish hardcore.
50mm ish blinding sand
DPM 1200g overlapped with internal dpc.
80mm ish concrete. (Will insulation be needed at edge of concrete slab?)

Then when set 100 insulation (if this is foil backed, there is no need for a vapour barrier)?
Then floor screed.

Is there anything missed out?

Thanks

Floor slab done, with a wall cavity of 100m looking at getting 85 insulation, but not sure what type to go for kingspan/celetox/knauf?

Been looking at knauf but the slab standards seem to vary believe 32 or plus seems to be the best, has anybody selected the brand before any suggestions.

Cheers
