Hi guys,
I installed a new radiator upstairs over the weekend and it seems to have a couple of problems.
1) The pipe on the inlet side of the rad is very very hot (great) but the outlet side is sort of tepid.
2) The bottom of the rad is not as a hot as the top.
It is a multicol rad with trv valves - The trv is bi-directional and I am SURE the flow is set in the right direction.
All the other rads in the house (not multicol) are working fine.
I thought that the rads need re-balancing but it strikes me odd that the water going into the rad is super super hot yet tepid coming out.
Could it be sludge from other parts of the system? It is a BRAND new radiator just to clarify and the boiler is about two months old and there was no power flushing of any kind.
