I want to put up a carport type roof between my garage and house. there are 3 sides that would be brick and the 4th a wooden panel with gate. the intention is to enclose the area to enable us to wash down the bikes and the dogs. Venting into this area is the central heating boiler. my question is; how much ventilation do i need to leave in the roof/walls so i do not have to duct it out through the roof. or should i wait untill next year when the boiler will be re sited and will not vent into this area?? :?:

There are very strict rules about flues in carports and they are generally NOT advised unless the carport is open at both ends!

Better to wait until the boiler is renewed or to renew it now!

If you must flout the rules then at least ensure the boiler is not working when you are in the carport!
