I got a new shower pump installed a few weeks ago and my water tank is now leaking into my bedroom. The pump was installed in the airing cupboard beside the boiler in the bathroom.
Could there be an overflow or water feeding back into the water tank??
I have no clue about plumbing at all. Just after some advice. Thank you

Possibly the tank connector is not sealed properly. A tank connector connects the new pipework to the side of the tank.

Think you need to look at the cold storage tank and ascertain where the water is coming from tank. I.e overflow, tank connector if pipe work was disturbed, spray from fast fill stop cock.

Basically more information is needed before specific advice can be given.

If your unlikely to want to fix any problem yourself, you may as well get someone in now and save yourself the hassle. Otherwise post back with what you find.
