You make a comment like that and expect not to get flamed?
Get a tester - beg borrow or buy one and make sure the circuit is up to scratch before energizing it!
better still, get an electrician who has a meter which has been calibrated and get him to thoroughly check the shower and circuit.
It could be a number of things, testing will reveal what it is.
My money goes on water ingress at the shower.
