New TRV fitting help please

Hi, i have purchased a new valve and i find that when i fit the adapter over the 10mm pipe and tighten up the whole unit seem s to spin as if it is not tight enough , is there a better way of doing this . Thanks

I have just tried again and when i put the adaptor on and tighten up the whole unit just rotates as if it is not tight, am i missing a part or do i need a better way of connecting . Thanks View media item 11996 View media item 11996

your a part missing on the reducer by the looks of it

The shop i got it from is not open untill 9.00am, going to BandQ for a 15/10mm reducer. They open at 7.00 and i need to get on with the job. Thanks for the reply though as i did think something was amiss .
