Noisy device between gas supply and meter

Got home today when the central heating was on and I could hear a buzzing sound from the gas meter box. I have had smart meters installed for about 2.5 months. I haven’t heard it before and I can hear it inside the house. Here is a video

What is this silver device?
I can feel it vibrating.

It's a pressure regulator.

Never heard of buzzing like that.

Call national grid.

Had quite a few semi concealed buzzing away like this usually on new estates with a good district pressure as dan says call grid they will change it

Don't come across many semi concealed meters here (thank God).

We have 75 mbar here so just as well
