noisy pump / vibrating noise (constant)

just had a new pump fitted to a Saunier Duval Thelia 23 combi. Although relieved to have HW & CH back, the boiler is now noisy! There is a constant droning/vibration noise. The plumber said some people pad them out with paper to quieten them down - any suggestions please?
