Noisy Vaillant

My Vaillant TurboMax Plus sometimes make strange noises when first switched on. Difficult to describe but it sort of emits three 'moans' and then clicks and a few seconds later fires up. We often hear when it first fires up in the morning.

I have also just found out that this happens if I switch the boiler off at the main switch and then switch on again.

I havn't lived in the house very long, so I dont know if this is normal or an indication of a problem.

Any opinions on this ?
