Non-combi boiler - water not getting hot but c/h ok

Hi,

I had a mini air-lock earlier, in that the water from the hot taps was spluttering, but I kept running it and it cleared itself and the pressure is now fine. But since then, the water is not getting hot (only tepid). As stated in the title, I have a non-combi boiler, and the central heating is working fine.

Any tips on things I can try before calling someone out?
