Ocean Alpha 240P Combi Boiler Problem

Hi, Im having some problems with my Ocean Alpha 240P combi boiler and wondered if anyone can help ?!!?

The first thing is the hot water is running hot for about ten seconds then goes cold for a few seconds then repeats this cycle, not great for showers in the morning!!! Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix?

Secondly, when the hotwater is switched on the radiators also heat up, even when the boiler is switched to hot water only?

hi, thanks, i thought it might be the diverter valve causing the radiator to heat when the water was turned on, could this be the cause of the hot water heating problem too?

Problem 1 could be blocked plate HE. Very easy to get out and clean on these, or, also very common, the primary ntc faulty.

Problem 2 is the DV. Needs replacing.
