Looking to replace 6 radiators in my house so just measuring them up and was expecting them to be all multiples of 100 both height and width (e.g 600mm x 700mm), but all the heights of mine are 520mm, 620mm or 720mm. Is this normal?

Also, do you measure the width to the valves rather than the radiator itself as these appear to be shorter.

Old rads are funny sizes, modern ones are in multiples of 100mm. You measure the width of the actual radiator, and may need to buy extension tails to make up the difference between the old and new rads.

Thanks - house was built in 2000 and these are he original rads - would that be classed as ‘old’?

Fortunately (or unfortunately!) pipes are microbore so 5mm each side will be fine.

Danfoss RasC2 are far superior. Liquid sensors react much faster than wax ones

Thanks, so you’d say the Danfos RasC2 over the Drayton TRV4? The latter looks better :)
