Hi
Bit of an odd question this and probably a stupid one.
I'm in the process of replacing most of the radiators in my house as the bleed screw has snapped off most and there seems to be no way of bleeding them without drilling and re-tapping the holes. Most of the valves are bust too but anyways...
When i've measured the rads, i'm getting some odd sizes, like 745x530 and 1360x530 (all single convectors). Ideally, i'd like to replace them with rads of the same size but i don't seem to be able to find any to match these sizes.
So far, i've found 600mm high and 400, 1200mm wide and 1000mm wide but no luck with exact replacements.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why?
Would it be sensible to replace the 745x530's with 800/600x600/400's and the larger ones with 1200x600/400's. The pipes into the rads is 10mm plastic so there is some play.
Thanks in advance
