Off set joined terrace roof with movement

Sorry if this is a bit of a duplicate thread but I am about to buy this offset terrace house with a roof that joins up at the back, the neighbours ridge is dropping and the gable tile pointing is blowing , internaly in the room beneath wher the roofs meet there is hairline cracking from the cieling and a lateral crack round two walls. Is this serious or comon for this type of build.
