The tw*ts of Europe have come up with another mind blowing ridiculous idea. As from 1st September, you will not be able to buy a vacuum cleaner over 1600 watts. So if you need one, you had better hurry up.

The idea is to save energy, so far better to use a less powerful one for longer

and From 1 September 2017, all vacuum cleaners will have to be less than 900w.

E.U treating us like suckers.

I'll buy 2 and leave one running while I'm using the other one... take that Brussels!

Why don't we all just curl up and die.
That would fook the EU up. No-one to submit to their petty dictatorship rules.

Both my parents, and other relatives, fought in the second world war to stop us being ruled by a dictator. Successive governments have thrown all their efforts right out the window. They make me sick.

Or we could just buy vacs that are already efficient, cost less to run and are already the best sellers in the market.

Dyson cleaners are already under 1600W

or buy a Henry - 580w

even my workshop dust/chip extractor running at 50 ltr/sec is only rated at 1100w

Lets hope that vacuum cleaners will be tested by sticking the hose up MEP's asssholes to see if it will suck their brains out.
