Hello, just wondering if anyone has any ideas that will save calling out a locksmith!

My front door has locked shut and it appears to be the actual mechanism that's broken. It is a UPVC door with a euro lock and it has two hooks - one going up the way and one down the way that are in the locked position so taking the hinge off does not appear to be an option. We have snapped the barrel and taken it out and tried a different(definitely working) one and that did not work either.

At a loss for what to try next without actually damaging the door - does anyone have any suggestions?

any visible mechanism inside the keyhole?

There is a part to the left that goes up and down when you move the handle but that's all.
