can anyone tell me what i type of bath waste pipes i need to connect to an old copper one coming out of the ground the last plastic one has leaked with results of water seeping through to the kitchen

Most copper waste pipes are 1 1/2" and can be attached to a 40 mm plastic waste with a waste compression fitting.

ive also fitted new pipe to tap in bath and ive done everything i thought necessary and this ones leaking not having much luck
