Hi,

I connect a 400w security light to some excisiting lighting outdoors. The shed cable runs sockets and lights.

Im looking for advice for the right connectot to buy.

I came across this on ebay

Was wondering if this would do the job?

Do I need the cable connector for outside the box. Dont know the name, the one that hold the cable into the box.

Thanks,

You will also need an RCD and an appropriate sized cable suitable for the environment you are running it in.
Your size of floodlight will likely breach the your Local Authorities maximum for domestic outdoor use which is usually around 150w.

That will be a cable GLAND.

You must use the right ones, or the box will fill with water. And you do not want that to happen.
