Oven Electric supply

Hi
I had to replace the oven element on my fan oven recently and noticed it is connected with a plug and 13A fuse to a ring main double wall socket.
I was wondering as i will be fitting a double oven in the future would i be able to use the double socket to supply both ovens

Probably not a great idea.
You might wish to a heavier duty feed installed to any additional cookers

Depends on what the new cookers draw in kw. Then work out the amps it will draw using ohms law and see whether its over 13A as thats the biggest fuse available to a plug. Most prob will need a dedicated cct from cu and also you got to think about equally loading of the ring final hth
