Oven Switch

Can anyone help I have just replaced an oven switch which combines a grill but unfortunately the children disposed of diagram of the wiring !! I have 2 Brown 2 grey 2 blue wires, One of the blue is the light with six terminals on each side of the switch any help would be appreciated ??

This forum is Electrics UK. Electrics deals with the fixed wiring in a house - basically up to the socket in the wall, oven connection point etc.

So not too much knowledge about what goes on the end of the wires.

I guess you are messing about with the wiring inside one of those white boxey things that have switches on and make a humming or whirring noise, sometimes?

If so you are better off asking on the APPLIANCES.

I've asked the mods to move you there..

Can you post a picture.
Also
The terminals will have marking on.
I would expect N L'in' Load or L'out'

When you say lights do you mean neons?
 
Thanks I have just checked the switch and no markings on it ??? i think the light is the temperature of the oven
