Hi. I recently pulled the wall paper off the wall back to the plaster. I have then applied a couple of coats of white emulsion to white wash the room, but have yet to apply the the top coat.

I have since read about preparing \ priming plaster with watered down paint (when dealing with new plaster), before painting it.

Should I have done this with my walls, or will I suffer any problems if I continue and put on the top coat?

Thanks.

Its too late now - youve already painted it..It shouldnt be a problem though as the wallpaper paste will have sized/sealed long ago ;)
