Hiya, first post, so please be gentle..have now been in my house nearly 20 months, when i first moved in (house now 126 years old), plaster on the walls was a little jaded to say the least but had been maintained over the years with filler. When I moved in, I decided to skim all the walls (3 Bedroomed and diner and not done by me) and used Permaglaze paint in each room(done by me). Has anyone used this on new plaster?...I chose to water the base coat down (approx 40%paint60%water) on first coat but second and third!...looks very patchy once the light(natural) shines on it. I thought matt would be the best choice was I wrong?
