Hi,

Just joined wondered whether anyone has had the same choice to make?

My house was rendered in the 1980's with the state of the art render which seems to be the norm now.

It was self cleaning and  stretchy? Now it is very tired looking with fine cracks but I'm wondering what type of paint to use.

Want to source something that will adhere like painting a plastic pipe when you paint it eventually it starts to peel.

Dont want that obviously and am willing to pay a decent price for a good job but want independent advice from Jo public.

Help!!

the best paint for outside is Pliolite . dry in 20 mins too so if its going to rain its fine.
or just a good branded water based exterior masonary paint will do.

Go to your local DIY store and buy a smooth mansonary paint (it goes on easier)
When you paint your wall and your on a ladder, only work from one side .
