Painting radiators

Hi.I have been painting my interior woodwork with Dulux trade white undercote and dulux trade high gloss, is this ok for painting radiators?Or is there something more suitable?Thank you in advance.

Yes, thats okay, if your rad has never been painted, then undercoat it before applying gloss, however, you might want want to consider an eggshell or satinwood finish.( not as shiny/glarey)

If you go for the eggshell or satin finish, then you just apply two coats of either.(oilbased).

You might want to consider painting the rad in with the wall, as you can get the satin/eggshell made up in the same colour as the wall, (oilbased) I personally think it looks much better, doesnt stand out like a sore thumb :D
 
Do you not have to use special paint?

Such as the Hammerite radiator paint?

(maybe heat resistant?)
