Trying to locate a place to purchase an offset pan connector. The soil pipe is 30mm lower than the pan outlet.

Now, the cistern is a high level type( which I now have installed on a side-wall thanks to the help from people on this forum), so I have some tolerance on how near/ far the pan can be away from the soil pipe.

The soil pipe is cast iron with internal measurement of 90mm. The pan has an external outlet of 104mm wide.

I have looked at McAlpine and Mulikwik fittings, but they are either 20mm or 40mm offset.

Should I be looking at flexi-pipes? I did not want to use one unless I had to.
Thanks

Have you actually tried the 20mm offsett connector? There's always a little 'give' in them. Also if you have room you could chop the cast iron back a bit and put a soil extension piece in to allow a little more give.

I havn't tried any connectors yet. Perhaps I should just order a 20mm and a 40mm connector and see which one fits best as they don't seem very expensive. As you say, there is probably some play.

I can remove some wooden paneling behind the toilet to access the soil pipe, but I don't want to unless it really is necessary.

Thanks

you could use a 40mm offset, and accomodate the extra 10mm by shifting the pan sideways - about an inch would take up the difference.
