Parkinson Cowan alto gm60 built in gas cooker

I have a parkinson cowan alto gm60 built in gas oven and until yesterday all was well. Every time i switch the oven or grill on the fuse blows in the plug. I have dismantled some of the cooker and have found the ignition wire to the oven is in poor condition. I removed that from the ignition box but the fuse still blows in the plug when i switch it on. I cant see any other obvious problems, any ideas or help will be very much appreciated.Thanks
