pavers and DPC

Hi i have set tout some pavers for a patio and i can only get them smack on the dpc .I am just worried it needs to be lower, but this means quite a big job . Can i put some DPC along the wall and under the pavers , or is this a no go .Any help for me

The idea is to keep paving/ground at least 150mm below DPC to minimise splashes back up the wall and over the DPC
