peugeot 307

Hi i have a peugeot 307, I had to take the cd changer out as it wasnt working, i found that one of the circle bearings was stuck and removed the obstruction. I then plugged it back in and now the car wont register the cd player, the lights flash on the cd player and go off after a few seconds do I need a code or something to register it or have I got to go to peugeot to sort it? Can anyone help any advice is welcome.

yes some players require a cd code as well as the stereo code, this is also common on many vauxhall systems to
