[RF Lighting]

I was called to a farm this week.

Their 30mA RCD which protects most of the farm, was tripping.

I tracked it down to this:

It is at the edge of one of the fields, and supplies a couple of flood lights, and the lights in the hay barn.

A cow had been quite happily munching upon the cable

The actual socket looks like it was done fairly well - the switches and T+E look like add-ons.

Atleast there was an RCD, even if it was protecting the whole farm.
