This pipe tees off the CH pipework and doesn't go anywhere. Is it there for expansion or something?

I have the CH drained down at the moment. Should I remove it or leave as is?

I will assume it's capped, for obvious reasons. Possibly a former expansion pipe, going up and over a cistern that has since been removed. If it's definitely CH, cap it lower down if you want to, otherwise leave as is.

The pipe wants lagging there in the roof;)

OK Thanks. Yes it does seem to be the highest point in the CH pipework. Will test it when I refill the CH.
