I have two CI stacks : one for the WC, one with a hoperhead for basin and bath waste, with two palstic pipes running into the hoper.

I need to get rid of the second stack.

My problems are:
- is it ok to connect the two plastic 38mm waste pipes into the soil ?
- if yes how ? drilling holes in the CI and using some sort of connector ?
- the junctions will be close to where the WC goes into the stack, must I connect the waste pipe above the WC or can the go just below ?

Any advice would help

Are you sure the pipe is 38mm, they are usually 32mm,40mm or11/4 or11/2, regardless you need to get a strap boss suitable for the pipe diameter you intend to let into the stack, you will need to drill a suitable hole in the stack(don't buy cheap holesaws or you will be there all week drilling) the rest is quite obvious.
Reference the positioning of the holes make sure you don't place them within 200mm opposite and below the toilet entry.
Best of luck
