Survey of house I am buying noted that the water tank in the loft is resting on chipboard and recommended that it should be replaced with something more suitable. Not a big job but, unfortunately, not one that I can manage. So, who do I ask for a quote, plumber or carpenter and any ideas how much it might cost?

Either of them can do it but might be best to for a plumber incase some pipework might need altering if the board going to be thicker than the previous one.

Ideally the board should be 25mm exterior plywood.
