Hi all,
I came across a local plasterer who said he would render my extension for what seemed a pretty good price. Should have seen it coming really, the quality was pretty poor. I thought some paint would make it look better, but actually made it look worse!
So I have some walls which have what I can describe as small indentations in them, a very rough surface all over, plus some patches he re-did which are a mess.
No chance of getting him back, he wont answer my texts etc.
So any thoughts on what I could do to get a better finish on top of the render.
Wondered if I used Artex and put a very thin smooth coat over the top and then paint it again, would Artex be OK outside if painted? I only thought of Artex as it is very smooth and I cant do any worse than the renderer!
Open to other thoughts on what I could do simply - thanks
