Possible Price ?

Hi folks, im fitting a new kitchen for my aunt and she is needing electical work done (she thought I'd be able to do it but I wouldn't attempt it for obviuous reasons) to cut a long story short she needs :
- a dishwasher , washing machine , integrated fridge, integrated freezer and a chimney hood and a supply for the gas cooker and hob..............what im wondering is this all possible considering the kitchen only has 2 double sockets and one single socket im sure a good spark could figure it out how much, roughly, do you think this will cost ??? I will get quotes for it, just so I can know what to expect.

Is there RCD protection in the c.u.?, is the bonding and tails upto date?

As well as the fixed appliances, don't forget the kettle, toaster, microwave, mixer, George Foreman grill, sandwich toaster, coffee maker, blender, juicer, iron, mobile phone charger and everything else that usually ends up in the kitchen.

Okay, do forget the grill, sandwich toaster and coffee machine. They usually end up in the back of the cupboard under the sink.

IMO omething like eight sockets plus outlets for fixed appliances is more appropriate for a modern kitchen.

I see your point the kitchen is only 2metres x 2metres and not much worktop space im going to have to get a spark out and see what the best option is. Maybe there possibly is a spark on here in the Glasgow area looking for some potential work ???

As above, if your D.B's not got/cant take RCD protection in it that will need to be addressed.
Also think about any lighting you may want under/above the units.
Costing depends on alot of factors, its very difficult to quote a job if you cant see it.
If its brick walls all the boxes will need to be sunk in to the walls and cable routes channelled, if your handy with a hammer & chisel you could possibly save a few quid as its time consuming.
