View media item 55070I recently overhauled the Diverter Valve using a Repair Kit. All went well and worked OK afterwards.
However I had some parts left over which I assume fitted in the rear part of the valve. I tried to unscrew this part ( see picture ) but was worried about causing damage.
Does this part separate ?

Yes, those parts are removable for access to the internals. If your boiler is working OK? then no need to go any further. The service kits contain all you would need for a complete rebuild. Keep them for future use.
