Potterton Boiler Problem

Hi,

I am having an old Gas boiler.
For some time now instead of firing up after the first spark it clickers around 3 to 5 times before it fires up.
So the pump comes on then some seconds later it tries to fire up but needs some clicks to do so.

Is it an easy fix? What parts costs would I have to expect? When talking to an Engineer what is the apropriate lingo and what parts would he need to change?
