Potterton Powermax 155x is whistling

I have a Potterton Powermax 155x, that has started to whistle intermittantly when the boiler comes on. I have been getting it serviced annualy, and it is nearly 5 years old. I was wondering if anybody could share their experiences whether this is a cheaply fixable thing?

Any comments are most welcome.

Whistling can be caused by an incorrect gas/air mixture and/ or a flueing problem, both potentially 'immeadiately dangerous'.

Do not use until checked by a competent engineer
