It's -2 degrees outside with snow and my boiler seems to be cycling too often (on for 90 secs, off for 65 secs), I'm not sure if this is due to the cold or I have a problem somewhere?
I have a fully pumped system with TRV's fitted to upstairs rads (fitted over the summer), the room stat is currently reading 17.5 degrees and calling for heat (set at 19 degrees). I've tried altering the boiler temp up/down and switching the pump speed but I'm not sure which way(s) I'm supposed to change them to reduce the cycling?
All the rad's are getting hot and the boiler is not 'kettling'. Can anyone suggest anything I should try or is this 'normal' operation?
Cheers for any assistance you may be able to provide
