Hi, in the last couple of days my boiler has stopped working. It is receiving calls to heat, but won't fire up. I've found the only way to get it working is to turn off the electricity supply to it for a while. When I turn the electricity back on it doesn't fire up for about half an hour but then it will fire.

Without turning it off at the wall, it will receive calls for heat all day but not fire. Anyone got any ideas what it could be and how much we're talking to fix it?

Have you looked at the fault finding chart
eg does the fan start...? etc

Sorry Chris, I've been so busy recently. Managed to get it working by topping the pressure up in the system with the fill loop. Must have been a lack of pressure.
