Powermax 140 no pressure

Hi,

My Powermax 140 boiler has no pressure and there is no light on for the burner. The lock out light has not come on.

How can I increase the pressure?

Had this problem a few years ago!

The way you write about your boiler it sounds as if you are not getting it serviced.

Due to safety aspects this model really does need regular services to keep it safe.

Hi,

Filled up with the filling loop, pressure is now at one. The boiler kicked in for a few minutes but then went off again. My house is freezing but have hot water. Any ideas?

on top of boiler is a bleed screw unless it has an auto vent

Had a look at top of boiler and there is like a small black screw poking out the top - is that it or is that an auto vent?

I have tried bleeding all the radiators also but still no joy.

yes that's the auto vent,it should vent itself unless it's na card
