Hi all I have now fitted 3 of these to one boiler in the past 12 months, they are lasting for 4 months and then losing their display with no recovery. One or two I could understand but they seem to be failing continually, is their any known problem that can lead to early failure apart from the clocks being rubbish?

i think they are pants 
but only thing could be causing premature failure is power spikes or such as like try fitting a filter to power supply to boiler
