Hi guys,
I'm about to stud out our master bedroom ready for plasterboarding and skimming, but the wall i'll be studding over is already plastered, (some of it crumbling, some of it rock hard).
I've heard from some people that I should remove it and let the wall breathe behind the stud wall?
I'd rather not have to create the mess if i don't have to, but if it helps in any way then i'll do it.
In my mind the plaster adds to the walls thickness, thereby increasing warmth? Does the 'breathability' factor hold any ground?
Thanks for any help.
Marc
