See the outside rendering.....can you see the DPC course on the exposed brickwork? Just thinking, the patio level may be a bit high, and any standing water or splash may be getting through.

Ideally, the DPC should be just below the swept lip of the pebbledash......the lip is there to allow water to drip clear.
If the DPC is below the flag level, then thats unsatisfactory as any run off or splash will be above DPC.
Can you ascertain this, somehow?

Flat roof above door, looks saturated either side on wall, will be running down inside to cause your damp.
A pic higher looking onto roof would help.

Again will get pic later when back from work. It had been raining just previous to those pics being taken Foxhole, would that make a difference? If not and render next to extension roof, which is pitched, is saturated, what are the remedies?
