prima 600 dishwasher

please can you help? I have just moved into a new house with a prima lpr600 dishwasher. I have switched on at 70 wash, water came in and it heated up but it has now gone back to first setting and the water does not drain away. The alarm is piercing. Im wondering if i need a new pump?

have you checked the waste spigot on the sink if its a new property sink spigot may be seal ,or if its you dishwasher from old property same thing applies previous person pos sealed it up.

sorry had a look and decided i have no idea what a spigot is can you explain what it is please

It's under the sink where the u bend goes. Follow the waste pipe from the dishwasher
