Problem wiring two 2gang 2way switches

Hello can't wire switches operating two separate lights.they are 2 gang 2 way ,old cables,on one end there are 6 reds(old wiring in metal conduit )+E : A1,A2,B1,B2,Feed from ceiling rose,switch wire for bottom light .the other end 5 reds :A1,A2,B1,B2,switch wire for top light ,+ E Any advise much appreciated

Forgot to say back plate of switch has two : com,L1,L2,loop

My advice, and it is so, so important that you heed it is not to disconnect anything until you have clearly and reliably identified all of the cables - whether they are live feeds, switched lives, strappers to the other switch, etc.

If you don't do that, and just remove the old switches then you'll be in a world of pain, and will have to choose between Plan A and Plan B.

It doesn't seem possible as you have described.

Were the cables marked A1,B1 etc. before you did anything?
Was there a short length of wire linking two of the terminals?
Have you got the two I have coloured the wrong way round.
