Problem with Icos HE24 boiler

I have a problem with my Icos HE24 boiler. Every so often I hear a clicking sound from it and on inspection the burner light is on and where the digital display is there is a flashing horizonal line. This never happens when the boiler is on and is rectified by turning it on and off again but when it displays this problem the boiler will not turn on via the timer. It has happened 4 times since January but I cannot detect a pattern to it. Any advice on what the problem might be would be appreciated. I have uploaded an image.
