Hi There

I have a strange problem.
The system consists of a Potterton Prima 50, new Potterton 2000 controller and new honeywell 3 port and appropriate pipe sizing...
The ongoing prob is the hw will heat up on its own, and the CH will heat up on its own BUT as soon as you run the 2 together only the CH gets any heat!!! I have taken off the 3 port and examined it and it appears to be fine.. It is new. No blockages in the cylinder obviously but the enigma still exists... Any suggestions? I am at my wits end and so is my customer

Please help

Jelboy

What voltage are you getting on orange from the valve when both are running?

I haven't checked the voltage ... How will that help? It is a new valve

That's what tells you if the wiring to the valve and if the valve itself is working correctly - so everything to do with it :)

Is there a balancing valve on the HW crcuit?
